Heath, Rachlin and Schroeder Receive Lawyer of the Year Recognition

Marc Heath, Robert Rachlin and William Schroeder, attorneys in the Burlington office of Downs Rachlin Martin, are recognized in the 2013 listing of Best Lawyers in America® as 'Lawyers of the Year.'

Heath, whose practice includes commercial litigation, product liability law, construction law and litigation, personal injury defense and Errors and Omissions claims, was honored as the 2013 Burlington Litigation-Construction Lawyer of the Year. A graduate of the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America.
Rachlin was named to the publication’s 2013 Burlington Commercial Litigation Lawyer of the Year. A founder, senior director and general counsel of the firm, Rachlin’s practice has focused on major commercial product liability, professional malpractice, software-oriented intellectual property, copyright, patent, trademark and trade secret litigation, environmental litigation and mediation as a neutral. He graduated from Yale University and the University of Chicago Law School.
Named Burlington’s 2013 Environmental Law Lawyer of the Year, Schroeder represents clients in all aspects of real estate development and operation, including representing developers in zoning, Act 250 and environmental permit proceedings in Chittenden County and throughout Vermont. He graduated with honors from Cornell Law School.
